The Red Sea Project is designed to be a pioneering regenerative tourism destination on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. Once complete, the destination is expected to house 16 iconic resorts and one international airport, spanning three islands and two inland sites.

According to Mr. van Heerden, Cape Reed’s presence on the project will last approximately nine months but will be double the size of the Sharjah Safari project.

“Our work on the Red Sea Global project will consist entirely of green timber construction,” revealed Mr. van Heerden. “Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but it is also fully sustainable and will have a significant impact on the region.”
