Cape Reed Announces New Commercial Projects!

In Completed Projects by Karlin van der Vyver

We are proud to announce two new commercial projects for which we have been contracted.

We have already started construction on the banks of Dubai Creek on the Marsa Al Seef project. This project will focus on re-creating and maintaining the historical trading, crafts and tourist traditions of Dubai and will be built on a stretch of 4,5km along the Creek. The destination will provide bustling waterfront spaces, where cafes and restaurants will open up onto the interconnected promenades fronting the creek!

Cape Reed will be building heritage style barasti shading structures (pergolas as well as canopy structures), various timber handrails and a number of barasti screens.

The development will also offer shoppers an array of options varying from traditional souqs, art galleries, shops for Emirati handicrafts and other retail concepts.

Travelling across the Arabian Gulf, we will soon be commencing construction at the new Trader Vic’s Restaurant in Doha, Qatar. Famous for their exotic cuisines and signature cocktails it is set to become a favourite spot of locals and expats alike!

Cape Reed is set to construct three thatched roofs, amongst others a bar and seating area as well as a restaurant.

We are super proud and very excited to be contracted for these new commercial projects!
