Office Manager Needed in Marbella

Cape Reed SL, a Marbella based company forms part of the Cape Reed Group of Companies, an international network of companies that specialises in the design and construction of bespoke Safari style structures. The Marbella office now has a vacancy for an office manager/bookkeeper.

The suitable candidate needs to have suitable experience in the way the following applies to Spanish business, preferably within the construction industry:
• Social Security
• Health and Safety
• Labour and other statutory regulations

As office manager the position calls for a well presentable person with strong communication skills, in both verbal and written English and Spanish, being able to present the company within an office environment through answering the phone as well as dealing directly with members of the public.

As bookkeeper the position calls for a person with sound administration and analytical skills, being able to capture all accounting records up to trial balance level, while establishing and maintaining relations with both suppliers and customers.

The suitable candidate will work closely with the Group CEO and the Group Financial Manager to maintain financial records and facilitate scheduling of payments and billing in the most effective and efficient manner, and closely coordinate regular reporting and human resource needs with the gestoria. The candidate  should be highly organized to ensure maintenance of paper and electronic records, and to ensure that the office runs smoothly with the ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and present solutions to the management team.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the agreed working hours as well as the applicable experience of the candidate.

Preferred starting date: Not later than 01 February 2016.
