New White Wash Finish
The Cape Reed Group of Companies has recently introduced a new white wash finish to their timber constructions.
According to John Neal, sales and marketing manager for Cape Reed SL in Spain these timber constructions were historically painted with a dark brown or black varnish which creates a rather rustic look.
Lately, however, questions were asked on whether a Cape Reed structure could also fit into a modern contemporary theme. This has inspired the designers at Cape Reed to develop a modern white wash paint application for these timber structures. Not only provides this a modern contemporary look to this much sought after outdoor entertainment structures (chiringuito or pergola), but also resembles a typical Mediterranean look.
A very clear example of this can be find at the Sea Grill restaurant, Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella, where the thatch roofs in combination with the clean white wash timbers create an idyllic scene.
Cape Reed clients that have visited the hotel and restaurant fell in love with the looks and some have subsequently insisted that their individual units match this particular ambiance.
According to John this “new look” also comes with the same fifteen year guarantee that is gladly associated with a Cape Reed product.
