Dubai Safari ticket prices announced
The much-anticipated opening of Dubai Safari Park has been confirmed for December 2017 and will be inaugurated by HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
This state of the art safari park, powered by its own clean energy production, will consist of four individual themed villages namely African, Arabian, Asian and an open Safari village. The main building of the park will include a theatre (accommodating 1000 guests) that will be used for various activities and shows, an interactive play area, wadi area, various themed cafes and restaurants as well as a veterinary hospital and research centre dedicated to the care of the animals.
Speaking of the animals…more than half of the expected animals have already settled in their new home, with the rhinoceros, hippopotamus and giraffes expected to arrive next. Apart from that, all the animals currently housed at the existing Dubai Zoo in Jumeirah will be moved to the new park.
Tickets for the individual villages will be sold separately but all-access passes will also be available.
According to Khaled Sultan Hilal Al Suwaidi, director of the Leisure Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, tickets for the separate villages will cost AED20 for children and AED50 for adults. An all-access day pass (granting entry to every site) will cost AED30 for children and AED85 for adults.
Children under the age of three, adults over the age of 60 and people with special needs will be able to visit the park for free.
